hope the "rage" graffiti image isn't ai. big companies are using it to hire fewer people, and it's *so* bad for the environment. it's taking away people's ability to think and engage in community, and it makes disinformation easier. there's nothing AI can do that people can't do better.

It doesn’t help that 80+% of the PPB don’t live in Portland, or even Multnomah County.

So not only are they incredibly hostile towards us, but they’re siphoning our taxes, too.

Saying that someone's legacy is sometimes used to fit a narrative doesn't say anything about the person themselves. People constantly twist MLK's legacy in ways that he would've disagreed with. The way we're taught about GWC is similar to teaching about MLK and saying, "we did it, racism is over"

going into specific details about the nature of the assault is very different than just saying "trump assaulted minors". i couldn't imagine being someone who experienced this and watching the whole world going into graphic detail about my assault. would you talk like this if it was someone you knew?

also content warnings are free, and i think that people who aren't able to listen to graphic descriptions of assault still deserve to be informed of the news. content warnings are free and harm no one.

actually it's very possible to say trump is in the epstien files or even that he himself assaulted minors without giving graphic descriptions of the act. it feels more like people are making a spectacle out of violence for ratings than advocating for those who were actually harmed.
