‘breaking the cycle’ NHS initiative in 2015 examined issues around poor flow relating to ward processes which slowed flow down…the cumulative effect of ,ward round timings , Tto delay,poor equipment …fax a mainstay for communication in 2015 !All this & more contributed significantly to poor flow .

The real cause of long A&E waits and crowding was known in 2002: it is poor flow through hospital beds. The majority of that is caused inside the hospitals. The symptoms appear in A&E; the problem is in the beds...

So much that destroys optimal performance in NHS… the ‘it’s free’ nonsense,has sustained a hierarchy that is seen too often 2b unaccountable to the customer,encouraging a lack of curiosity which supports, a culture of misunderstanding,all glued together by a massive bureaucracy to confuse?Everyone.
