I did not go to the reunion concert but just seeing the hat choreography from the back of the crowd at Lincoln Center Plaza was a joyful experience! 🌟

She remembers this being when it the dance was invented, but a cursory internet search reveals that 1961 is actually when the dance peaked in popularity.

One of the many things I loved about the production was seeing “Susan’s Dream” in context for the first time, which I first fell in love with from listening to @bebeneuwirth.bsky.social’s Live at 54 Below album… 💓
