I mentioned my 40something age with Y9 while giving the overview of this year’s content, was talking about recalling news footage of the USSR from childhood. Not sure how to take “wow she’s as old as my mum” Do I take it as she doesn’t look as old as my mum, or bloody hell she’s not in her 90s??

But, the sole consumption of this treat is only achieved if the cat is outside. Otherwise you are forced to share. Tigs is particularly fond of a smoked Bavarian cheese

I switched sectors last year, which means for me it’s ISI. They have one whole school pass or fail since last September. But also introduced a new framework.
Is outstanding the new pass?

I changed jobs 18 months ago, doing that ‘shocking thing’ of leaving at Easter. (I did make sure my Y13s were exam ready as I’m not that harsh)
Best thing I ever did as I put myself first, left SLT became a HoD and now back in love with teaching!

If you have a nice mug only wash it up before you refill it. No one steals a dirty mug!!! (But don’t be the one growing your own biological study on your desk)

A dead mouse I could cope with. Mine brings in living ones to ‘play with’ which actually is me desperately trying to catch the poor thing with a dustpan and brush, while she jumps about all excited by the game, try to free it, while cat wanders about trying to work out where her new toy went.
