Saying "political violence is bad" does zilch, zero, nothing to protect those with less power.

Please don't campaign on "bringing the parties together." Worse yet, don't govern that way. Pay attention to where that kind of concessional, centrist brand of politics has gotten us. Please learn from history. That's not what we need and not what we want.
