Lots of Democrats in Texas complain about the state of our State and country. And yet:

561,819 of registered voters in Texas have voted as of last Sunday. There are over 18 million registered voters.

This is not all on the MAGAs and Trump.

The official government account for DHS appears to be run by far-right trolls deliberately trying to provoke a response by using a term openly associated with ethnic cleansing. They will attack anyone who points this out and express faux outrage at the suggestion. They know what they are doing.

The NYTimes ed. board misses a major factor driving Trump's reluctance to implement a law that effectively forces ByteDance divestiture of ownership:

He has yet to line up a new owner who's reliably in the president's back pocket — who can be counted on to amplify pro-Trump propaganda.

Important update on #SJR87 — awful legislation that chips away at the right to due process.

Help us tell the following reps to please vote against this bad proposal.

SJR 87 would automatically jail Texans before trial based on certain past convictions or charges — without a judge’s approval or weighing the facts.

This is how innocent people get locked up.

Tell lawmakers: NO on SJR 87. #txlege
