Politics is basically a bunch of Republicans running around and farting while Democrats follow them sniffing them and saying how bad their farts smell.

I wonder if wishing someone a speedy recovery actually does help them recover faster even if it's by .1%.

People often offer to pay me directly for my book rather than let their hard earned money go to Amazon and BEZOS. What they can't see is that a purchase followed by a verified review is worth 100x more than the price of the book itself. It's the best thing ever when it comes to supporting the book.

@vonjeglichemwort.bsky.social Hello, I saw you recently started a starter pack for people into literature. I released a literary fiction novella a few months ago called "The Drunk, The Gambler, and The Lover." How can I join?

I'm not sure why the option to open up your DMs is under the dots and lines icon, but it's done. If anyone wants a free copy of my kids book or novella, DMs are actually open this time. For real.

Everything was better like this, yet none of it mattered; only this mattered. It was a true connection that could be found nowhere else but here and now. There was nothing to smile about, which had made The Drunk's smile even brighter. There was a joke somewhere that no one else could hear...

"The glass was downed. Buttery vanilla and many other notes were all there, for sure, but moreso, its goodness overtook all. For if this was not good, nothing was. Writing was good, and work was good; but without this, it was all meaningless. The day had lead to this moment again and again."

"Money was vaguely needed, yet it came with the envy of days of past fulfillment. What was gone was gone, and it was to never come back. What was here was here to stay, and it was unfulfilled."
