EmberTalks @EmberTalksVT WereDrago... • X.com My thoughts I accepted that I don't fit in with many voretubers because even in a perfect world, it feels like I'm just putting up with personalities that don't mesh with my own, with values I don't share, and who l don't really know at all for no reason other than to fit in this idealized voretuber multiverse that never existed in the first place. The scene to me feels like a corporate forced-family at times where a small handful are undermining others with a smile & only there for their benefit. Fact is if I really wanted that type of environment I'd just go back to my old job. Making friends with other creatives and forcing collabs with them because you have one thing and only one thing in common with them and next to none else just isn't a good foundation for a friendship. Especially when that one thing involves money and a career with a shared audience where trust and ego come into the picture, then it quickly starts to become playing with fire dealing with what is more advanced communication. Cause of that is why I am more careful about collabs, and why I never really been all that shocked about drama behind the scenes when it happens. This is why so much drama starts - not just for voretubing but also for the tubing industry itself in general. Their personalities mesh naturally with mine and our energies are compatible with one another in that we WANT to be around each other for more than just doing work. When you build a friendship with a strong foundation, that's not based on just one singular thing, that's when you have a lasting, close bond that's not only healthy for the creative, but fun for the audience when that bond is shared with the audience in a collab setting. If I fuck with you and want to do stuff with you, I will absolutely tell u directly. Y'all know who you are :3

This is an on-going situation and I'm still figuring out exactly what content they are requesting to be taken down.

I'm frustrated that I have to segment my content between so many different paid subs because of payment processors. It's extremely hostile to consumers.
