hey.

making this post for myself and to let my friends know what's been going on with me. i've been needing to let this out for a while to become more comfortable as...me.

just hoping i'm supported and all. thank you, if you do.
Unsure how exactly to talk about this all, but here goes nothing. The last 6 months have been...something else. A lot of my time has been figuring out my own mental health. A lot of it that I still do not fully understand. It's been affecting just about every part of my life. I've been more stressed in work, kept myself more distant from friends, been emotionally and mentally exhausted, and not being fully available for my amazing wife who has still supported me throughout everything. But at the least, through a wonderful therapist, I have some answers. I have dissociative identity disorder. In other words, I'm plural, or a system, or whatever you want to call it. I'd rather not disclose this in detail, because y'know, trauma. But that is the big thing I've been going through. Making this post mostly as a way to just...get it out of my mind. The fear of being outed as a system is killing me inside. I just want to live a normal, regular, boring, happy life. And life has shown me that I have anything but that. So this is me trying to claim that back. Things happened to me, and this is how it ended up. We just hope to be accepted for who we are, because all we want is to live and exist in this hell-world. And we cannot compromise for who we are any longer. Want to thank all my friends who I've told over the months about this. Those who kept this to themselves and not told others, been there to listen to me, or are fellow systems that helped me process, thank you immensely. Also thank you to Maple for encouraging and helping me with my mental journey. I love you to death <3 So if you see "me" in VRChat or Discord or Twitch or anything and I look different or sound different, then it's probably not Demmy but someone else at the front.
