Still see the same amount of dog crap in the street as I remember back then. People picking up now mostly but helluva lot more dogs around and probs same amount that don’t. I remember looking in my dad’s work diary and seeing “strike” pencilled in on random days. Meant nothing to me then.

62 here in northern England but my husband is out working in the driving rain in shorts. He won’t give them up till October 1st.

I can’t listen to radio 4 Today programme anymore. I found the interviewing unbearable, the content often biased, and some of the presenting arrogant and sneering.

To be fair, belittling anyone for anything is pretty rubbish and says more about the shortcomings of the belittler than the belittled. Do as pleases you and ignore the ones that are bitter because they can’t.
