That'd be illegal regardless of those laws, and were before too. Doxxing though is unrelated to all of this, isn't it? It's still not illegal, and wasn't before either.

Yeah, I never quite understood why we have that. What has been done been done, can't just hope to erase that by making it forbidden to talk about on the internet.

I mean I think it's on purpose, they've always done bad things because they know they'll land in the media because of it. And then everyone swallows the bait and gives them more attention for it, because who can avoid just puking over all of it?

Well, the "good techbros" don't call themselves "techbros", as that's just purely a negative thing. Just like there isn't any "good nazis", the second part kind of excludes the first part.

I think most of us who spent considerable time on the internet is aware both of the "torment nexus" and exactly where it comes from, many of us were there when it was coined :)
