The biggest discovery is that the scales don't need to be edged bc the top point is too tall to go under the ring. Basically it is unable to spin out of place like a normal shaped scale.

Which saves me from having to edge the entire thing 😎

My latest experiment/project is coming along. Been playing around with scale shapes and colors. These ones are a bit thicker than my usual ones and much longer, which gives the assembly some interesting properties.

Got another fun piece made! Traditional Dragonback weave, gold on top and silver on the inside (it's mostly reversible)! Working to build out my commission sheet and post it soon!

Finished a collar commission! Been really happy with how this one turned out. Black with a purple piping accent in Full Persian! Very sleek I think 🤔
