After more interuptions than anticipated, I finally finished the second of my collage poems. I ended up slightly modifying the text from the original words I chose based on how the design was evolving. I'm looking forward to starting the next one in the series after the holidays!

I have started my second "collage poem" based on words I have cut out from various printed media. I am keeping to the same 8" x 10" size as the first one. This is turning out to be a great exercise on many levels from design to wordsmithing. Crawford Kittycat decided to help. #paperart #collage

Even though we're hurtling toward Christmas, I am resuming work on a project I started back in October that will hopefully manifest in some mixed media pieces in time for Halloween 2025! The inspirational book was being tossed by a library. #halloween #WIPWednesday

One of my favorite collage pieces inspired by the Indian textile artform, Toran. I combined hand printed elements with paper samples I saved from my years as a graphic designer, including a shiny metallic stock to replicate shisha (mirror) work. #collage

Needing something I could easily focus on last week, I started cutting out words from various print media for a collage-poem exercise. Having made my poem from the words spread out on a tray, I am now in the process of creating the collage background. Will keep you posted! #wipwednesday

Like many artists out there, I am drawn to different types of media, including fiber art. Discovering the ability to paint with wool was life changing! Needle felted painting with hand-dyed wool. 20” W x 15” H. #felt #art #textileart

A newly collaged skull in honor of Día de Muertos. Over the years, I’ve painted it in colorful designs, and now, in its latest collage form, it feels like it's finally what it was meant to be.
