I was disturbed to see the predator in chief trying to manipulate women, publicly known to have suffered sexual abuse as teens, into protecting him from the Epstein files. He thought he could manipulate Boebert and Mace as if they were still powerless girls. Surprised (and glad) they resisted.

Gang of 8 are just the safety pawns. Sacrifices so the old guard leaders who were scared (and likely shocked) on Nov. 4 can pretend to care what we think and add a meaningless notch in their midterm belts.
I have now seen SO MANY soundbites from Shaheen, whether they be confessionals that the "gang of 8" were put in place by Schumer, or that she credulously wants to "negotiate" with the terrorists, at this point she should simply have a quick 6-second hit where she just says "I suck."
DEMOCRATIC SENATOR SHAHEEN: "We've heard from a number of our colleagues on the other side of the aisle that they're willing to come to the table, they're willing to work with us once the government is open to get this done."
