Took myself for some fresh air with a challenge of finding flowers on the 1st January.
A blue-purple flower, possibly a periwinkle, and a green leafy background. A pink-purple Primula flower, a little worn by the weather.

Sometimes, on days out, we set ourselves a photo challenge with an abstract subject. Today's was 'holes':

Finally made the Christmas cake. Ginger beer boiled fruit cake. Accidentally fed it some brandy too 😉
