One of my favorite parts of my job is writing blog posts that could help emerging authors. A lot of people have heard about a "two-book deal" and how exciting it can be. But some option clauses can be limiting for an author. How do you know what it means? How do you determine if it's right for you?
Are option clauses good or bad? Well, it really depends.
