Have managed to come full circle with this draft and am reworking chapter one now that I know where it ends. I'm so tired but also feel rather proud for having pushed through this rewrite which was sooo daunting at times.

Finding myself baffled once again over what could be considered the ideal chapter length. I know that there is no perfect length but it's a question I find myself facing every few weeks as I work through this rewrite

Managed to edit down a short story to exactly 100 words for a writing challenge which is a huge relief. Editing and trimming words remains a huge battle but at least today it was won

Had a productive research session after work today, borrowed far too many books from the library and got to write while it poured with rain outside. A fantastic day all up.

Mastering the art of short stories is truly a challenge. At this point I would just like to not feel the urge to pull out my hair. At least it's starting to resemble something!

A huge leap forward in writing today with another chapter done. Speeding towards the end but now for all hell to break loose

Hit my word count for the day and am now contemplating how much angst to put my characters through for the remainder of the chapter

Good morning rebels...

After a long week of work with little to no writing I've managed to smash out a couple hundred words tonight which I'm pretty happy with. Here's to a weekend of writing ahead of me!

Have completed the research part of my day and can now go forward with my writing, cup of tea in hand.

Finished rewriting another chapter today and I'mfeeling pretty good about it. I know the next part is going to be trickier but I'm riding the high for now

Finally think the chapter I'm working on is beginning to take shape even as the characters argue and fall apart

In the thick of rewriting and trying not to despair but have managed to write 1k this morning before work! Wahoo!!
