My final verdict is I’m not done with the show but I’m definitely not watching live anymore. I’ll be lurking in the fandom but not really engaging on premiere nights.

After Bobby’s death I said that the final 3 eps would determine if I will continue watching this show. 8x16 was trash. 8x17 was great. 8x18 was meh (as a regular ep and finale).

Through fandom lens, this sucked. Once again we spent so much time on an emergency that ultimately did not matter and no time with our characters and their personal dynamics like last episode. But everyone else could have mixed feelings on this, so to each opinion their own.

Other than that, no real cliffhanger and everyone just kinda…’exists’ until next season with their ‘plots from 8A resolved’.

Athena & Chim didn’t even really talk to each other the entire time they were trapped , then all of a sudden made up once they were out? But each ‘case’ was still kinda interesting and engaging.
