Huh, why is Japan sending Mone, Ami, and Kao to 4CCs when they’re also on the Olympic team? I can kinda understand Kao since the Japanese men are weirdly lacking in depth right now, but I would have given Rinka and Wakaba the nod. Oh, well, I am glad Yuna and Kazuki are at least going to 4CC!

Yona, Hak, and Su-won will be back in anime form — the Yona of the Dawn anime is finally getting a sequel! The original manga ended on Friday after 16 years of serialization.

I wasn't able to watch the last events of Skate America live, but I've finally caught up (mostly...still need to watch the first group of free dance). Anyway, what's with ice dance deciding to suddenly become unpredictable during the Olympic season? Couldn't that wait until next season?

Um, can we all agree not to hold Skate America in Lake Placid during an Olympic season ever again? In 2017, we had a scoring delay, two men dislocating their shoulders, and Ashley withdrawing mid-skate due to her ankle infection. This year, we got yet another scoring delay, some wonky lifts in pairs

Ah, wish Jason had skated that amazing Riverdance short cleaner, but 5th's not too bad (I would put him above Grassl), and yay, Kazuki! Get one of those Olympics spots! Looks like Kevin's luck at SA still continues, too, even if it's not in Texas this time.

Oh, wow, that's exciting! I think she could be a good pair partner, especially on the sbs jumps. Her easier triples are pretty solid.

Well, it wasn't a very happy birthday for various personal reasons, but at least I finally got to try a cookie cake! (And Blue Bell brought my favorite discontinued Homemade in the Shade ice cream back for a limited time for extra yumminess!)

I know there were rumors that they might be married, but, wow, the confirmation that Efimova/Mitrofanov did get hitched last year and are seeking a waiver to get her U..S. citizenship faster just made the fight for the two pair spots at the Olympics that more intriguing!

I was thinking about commenting on the NBC recap shows of the Grand Prix since it's the Olympic season, but I been having trouble keeping my tablet connected to the WiFi when I'm in my bedroom, so I guess I won't be able to. Hoping I can find a good deal on a new one on Black Friday so

Are the rights to *NSYNC's music too expensive/too difficult to get? Seriously, there are soooo many Backstreet Boys rhythm dances this season, yet I can't think of a single team using *NSYNC! (Also, there are better BSB songs than Everybody (Backstreet's Back). At least give us variety!)
