Hi #BookSky! I'm new here and I've had a recent return to reading! Thought I'd introduce myself and see if I can find like-minded #booklovers!

I love to read romance, fantasy, contemporary fiction, memoirs, and books about food. Always looking for more diverse authors to read so send me your recs!
On a book roll this year aka escaping reality through reading. I'm up to 13 books (who even is she?!) and my social media usage has definitely gone down. I'm not mad about it! #BookSky

How is it January 29 and I'm sleeping with my window open because the overnight temp is so warm? 😬

Vacillating between enjoyment and utter terror of what a warming planet means. #ClimateChange

Loved shooting today in Kirkcaldy with my mom's quilting group. ❤️

Generally we think of alt-text as the domain of those with accessibility needs.

However alt-text is useful for many reasons, which benefit your viewers, as well as you, the creator!

Finally got my bookshelves semi-sorted after my ex moved out. 🥰 Don't be fooled though. The rest of my apartment is still chaos. 🙃 #bookthreads #booksky

I'll support the Kickstarter campaign.
What about a new social media app called What The Fuck with feed options like "What the fuck is going on around me" and "What the fuck is going on overall" and "What the fuck is going on with me"

Can't remember the last time I was this tired. 😴 Maybe 2019 when I was never at home and ran myself into the ground. Swore I wouldn't do that again and regretting some of my life choices this week.

But I did make it to the gym somehow! THE GYM. I'm growing up! #ADHD

Ok #booksky, let’s talk.

👎🏼Goodreads, owned by Amazon, fuels its monopoly on books.

👍🏼StoryGraph, a Black woman-owned platform, offers an ethical, ad-free alternative with mood-based recommendations, user control over data, and a focus on inclusivity. Support diversity over corporate power!

Sharing some of my reads here since I'm off all of Meta at the moment. Here's one I just finished and loved! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

My Ins/Outs for 2025. I didn't think about this too much tbh but I like the idea! So here I am!

Entering dating land again after seven years partnered and almost a decade since I was last on "the apps." And it's still terrifying to me. You'd think at nearly 40 I would not be so socially nervous about dating. How do you deal with it?!
