Autumn Oak leaves

I realised I didn’t post any pictures from My volunteering day at WWT Welney on Tuesday, it was a bit quiet at first visitor wise but still picked up around lunchtime,
we had a steady flow there on.
Tree sparrows are thin on the ground at the moment, but we’ll see what happens this week.

🥶 snap.

What a day at Welney today, despite still having a slight cough but feeling much better I managed my first Swan talk of the season.
So mild today too that the butterflies were on the wing including small copper.
Lots of Golden plover, Peregrine, Crane and late afternoon lots of Pink-feet flying over

She could always sell the pony
November 2, 2025 at 1:00 PM
I am guessing, she lives in the North Norfolk area where locals can not afford to buy houses because the average house price is £900,000.
Still I expect the pony gives a bit of warmth in the Winter.

At least 3 Red Admiral butterflies in the garden as well as other insects enjoying the remaining flowers on this bright November morning.

It’s 10pm and the moon light is powering my Solar panels, although only slightly which dispels the myth we need Sunlight and the Uk is not suitable for Solar power.

The reason the small birds are not visiting the feeders this afternoon.

A Squirrel eating Sloes, Autumn sunlight through the trees and Winter wheat (possibly ?) showing in the fields.
It was a promising start to the day sadly now cloudy.
