This is autocracy. Rule of law, conventions, free market competition ... none of that matters. Now, the engagement parameters are flattery, subservience, and sycophancy to get favored treatment and a competitive advantage. And yes, it is sickening.

What about outside of the US? I'm a Canadian, I'm sure most Canadians will continue to call it the Gulf of Mexico. I'm also confident Central America, the Caribbean islands, and (of course) Mexico will do the same. Is Google only going to show "Gulf of America" to the US?
