Mmmmmmm, cake break.

Did a bike ride on Saturday, nothing too dramatic, but the canola was in bloom and we found a bakery with very nice cake. This was in the Zellertal area in the Rhineland Palatinate, Germany

Now that’ll give ya a warm fuzzy feeling out on the trail. A warning about aggressive birds in the area. I‘ve seen Hitchcock‘s The Birds quite a few times. So, we talking Hawks, crows, or sparrows here?

We hiked about half of the Heideschnuckenweg this year. The heather was a little past prime, but still beautiful. The trail goes through the Lüneburger Heide which is south of Hamburg, Germany.
