You're paying for an advantage over everyone else that doesnt have one, it gives a boost to several core aspects of the system and tbh £25 is the price of a game dlc. There has to be a point in which the players say they crossed the line with pricing and the content they put in the game. This is it.

Does give you an in game advantage tho, increases to population, tech level and a couple of other things which you cant get just by playing, all of which helps out the bgs and powerplay in your system.
