Massive turnout from the massively cool community in Kāpiti last night. We reckon that there were about 180+ people protesting against racist, pro-apartheid preacher/real estate agent Julian Batchelor and his hate tour.

Today me, my partner and two friends were bitching about a leftist group, and one said we should own them by giving them a pamphlet from their group on the Waihi strike of 1913 and everyone laughed. I love them all but that conversation effectively subtracts one instance of each of us having had sex

The biggest cultural mistake of the past 20 years was letting people reclaim the word 'nerd' as a term of pride, self-congratulation disguised as self-deprecation. Crossing their knees with a bashful "tee hee" only to say they watched all 63 Marvel films. Better harvest their organs pronto
