One of the biggest reasons that teams are financially destroyed when they are relegated is because of media deals involved in the top flight. Teams lose so much money when they lose that money but USL doesn’t have these kinds of media deals so that financial drop would be much less severe.

Well, they sure are getting it. This new div 1 and pro/rel has been in heavy rotation since the announcements. Most i know are for it. Less gatekeeping. More actual stakes to winning/losing regular season matches.

Probably a blessing in disguise, considering that USL is opening a division one league soon and San Antonio will very likely be in that league. Proper pro/rel pyramid and San Antonio will get to be a part of it. Once you’re in MLS there’s no getting out.

BTW Capmetro was forced to change the app after Siemens absolutely crashed Capmetro’s payment system leading to over a month of no fare collection and then requesting almost 200k fix their problem. Umo seems to work much more consistently, IMO.

Definitely don’t use Umo for trip planning and even capmetro says to use the Transit app instead which is spectacular IMO. After using it for a day or two you get bumped up to the premium membership for free.
