My first introduction was either the old Hobbit cartoon or listening to a Hobbit audiobook on cassette tapes sometime before I was 7 years old. I would repeatedly put on the cassette tapes and act out/imagine I was in the story. (I'm in the millennial age group)

Desperately needed. We also need people to be educated on critical thinking and properly evaluating sources of info. I was a humanities major so science isn't my field, but having these two abilities is critical when I encounter new information. Most misinformed people do not have these abilities.
