Yes! I have 10k words! And I like them all rather a lot.
A picture of the writer's word count on Scrivener. They have reached 10,154 of 60,000 words, and wrote 1,963 words in one session. The photo includes a confetti emoji to reflect the jubilation of the moment, because writing is hard and all wins must be celebrated.

There's just something really amazing and motivating about sitting in a theatre filled with queer SFF readers, listening to two incredible writers talk craft. The swords and fairylights were just the cherry on top. Prettiest launch ever.

Though honestly, my friend made a collage of my manuscript recently and it gives the best vibes.

Still pretty sick and all my limbs ache but at least I have this cuddly beast and a great book for company.

Currently sharing a writing office (sofa) with two floof monsters, Willow, slayer of bubbles, and Fantôme, a chonky scaredy cat. Half ragdoll, half iron-strong will to snuggle, often seen audaciously escorting toddler and I to nursery.
