As an N scaler, digital calipers are a must! They also come in handy in IDing the sizes/widths of random wheelsets you'll come across.
Any advice on making perfect right-angle cuts on styrene sheets? Even scoring w/an Xacto brings about uneven cuts.

I fixed my email settings so it doesn't put Metro emails in the spam filter. That's what I was more worried about. But if you didn't send me one in the first place, then no prob.

Exactly this. Transit was run primarily by private agencies until the 40s. Most of us were not alive to fathom that.

Yeah I'm a little upset with that, especially since the preproduction sample had a bike rack. But this is the very first 21st century prototype North American transit bus made in N scale, so it's a giant leap forward, regardless.

I recorded this on Opening Day, but I've always loved Nancy Bea's ending to "Take Me Out To The Ball Game", so I always played it like that. This is a tribute!

Celebrating the return of #Dodgers baseball, but also mourning the loss of Nancy Bea Hefley, Dodger Stadium organist from 1988-2015. Because of her, I learned how to play "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" w/the key change on the repeat (apparently every Dodger Stadium organist has played it this way)!
