Had an absolute blast at the XPN concert at Appel Farm yesterday. Minka and Snacktime were incredible, especially Snacktime's medley of Steve Miller's Fly Like An Eagle and Lenny Kravitz's Fly Away, with the Eagles chant in between. Highly recommend adding them to any kind of funk / party playlist

Beautiful foliage seen on my morning Vonnegut-envelope walk from the library. And I couldn't get a good pic but I also saw a handsome buff/white cat in a carrier. The young man carrying him to the vet was saying in a low soothing voice "I know buddy, almost there"

Went for a walk with 9yo along the Riverfront Greenway at the Navy Yard and it was so peaceful. Plus the planes going right overhead was cool. We saw quite a few birds including a few osprey
