How can getting round the lake district be easier than direct trains between major UK cities? Also, are we back to just coughing on everyone now?

That government alert, coming in the middle of a first watch of Harry Potter for my partner, was properly unsettling. Also, I'm in awe of my pal who works in organ transplant who has to work in a red alert. Her and all essential workers once again: you are marvellous

Don't think this has to be tribal - loads of RFK fans who are sick of loads of weird ingredients in their food might be interested in the latest ZOE podcast - they also dislike shite in food but also talk about the evidence behind vaccines
