First Monday as an official teacher tomorrow. We’re completely changing how maths is taught to a much more complicated system and we’ve had one of our few TAs removed. Wish me luck.

I am now a primary school teacher but so far in my life I have run a theatre, managed a major events company, worked in cafes, pubs, the post office and (best job ever) an independent jewellery shop. Every job has taught me something major about life/work but the most vital thing I’ve learnt

I was never on Twitter but I have enjoyed Threads over the past 18 months so am trying this to expand my horizons.
Haven’t decided what to use this platform for yet… either to find interesting discussions about primary education in the UK, or to talk about why I got married at 25 and divorced at 27
