Wow I hated writing the alt text for this and whined about it only to find that chat gpt could have done a bunch of the work for me. It only made a few mistakes.

No shade to this person (cept for staying on X) but Sauron was never on a redemption arc. He just *wanted her to believe he was.* The creepy uncanny valley Halbrand is not a recreation, because Halbrand never existed. It’s just Sauron with the illusion stripped away. It’s Sauron as he actually is.

It isn't different person with glimpse of someone, who Halbrand was. He is the same but in that uncanny valley way. Sauron just isn't capable to recreate him again because— 9 photos of Halbrand. Some have a very antisocial and creepy look about them.
