The point is that gun laws in NYC, which has some of the most stringent gun laws in the country, were disproportionately enforced against minorities when firearms were found as part of "routine" stop and frisk encounters.

Criminalization of firearms is just like criminalization of anything else.

It was a dream, I'm not claiming it's historically accurate.

Also, though, "koans" from my understanding are not historical records, and writings about sitting meditation go all the way back to the Dhyāna sutras, and Hongzhi Zhengju also wrote about meditation.
