I’d say History of Philosophy by Julian Marias is good. A little old, but I prefer Spanish and Italian over English. Inevitably, some of the summaries will get certain philosophies wrong, so it’s better to read the source material or folks that studied certain epochs (classical, modern, etc.).

Just general or a particular timeframe? Giovanni Reale is a good starting point I believe. Only in English?
