15 yrs in used books-- goo gone works unless the jacket has lost its outer layer/sheen. You don't want the orange oil to seep into the actual paper part of the jacket

Barcode/MSRP is on the back, why do retailers insist on messing up the front? In a shop, you WANT people to pick the book up.
