there’s MANY races with a language set up like that in SWTOR, and the game is just as old as FF (it’s gonna be 14 on 12/20)

I can second this, especially with getting back into SWTOR. literally the entire game is voiced. player, npcs, even on just side quest shit — it’s all voiced. there’s some more recent stuff where the PC isn’t voiced but it pales in comparison.

and also tbh just in general the “here’s a nice hairstyle! but the textures resemble plastic.”

and one I, in the past few months, had to deal with: paid sculpt w/ nice horns, has separate modpack to put horns + ears on gear piece but it’s not sold separately.

Like how Aeron is half voidsent like Zero, Aysha’s been blessed by the elementals, Cass is a miqo’ra. I like having more options I can play around with for appearances, and mods can give me that.
I also just use other QoL plogon stuff, like gather buddy, some nice tweaks and making maps easier bc >
