"I'm fraid I don't have one. Mother didn't see fit to give me one 'for she waddled off."

His voice was surprisingly deep for such a tiny creature.

He pulled the reigns and the long hair mewed softly, coming to a stop and sitting up. The tiny duckling climbed up and stood on it's head.

"Her name's Allie, and she's the finest steed in these here parts and it's not close."

He noticed the tall woman take notice of him, and when he looked up he reached for his hat with a down covered wing.

"Ma'am." A light tip of the brim.
