I love my Switch 2 and got a Portal so I could have the same experience, but my WiFi is so bad that the Portal is literally unusable. Definitely try to see if you can test one out in your own home before committing the cash.

I’ve heard people have better experiences with streaming to a SteamDeck.

I’m really enjoying it, but I have a good friend who feels the same way you do. I think it boils down to what a person’s expectations for a Metroid game are. Him and I have had similar discussions about MGSV (which is terrible)

I like it better than Prime 2 and 3 so far, but I probably like Dread and Fusion better overall, but that’s more of a 2D vs. 3D thing.

I actually really like him and wish they had made an amiibo of him instead of the motorcycle

Not only can we use Star Wars Outlaws (fantastic game) as an example, but Bloober Team themselves put out Cronos: The New Dawn which is another great Switch 2 game
