The worst thing you can ever do is think my side is good its the other guy. Politicians are scum. Its in the job description. Right now the right are more corrupt but its just timing. A few years and couple elections and left will be the scum.

Sure. But I also remember how much perfectly good kit was replaced because "it's not y2k compliant"
The company I was working for at the time made serious bank replacing things like dumb terminals and network cables. A lot of it was real, but there was a lot of grifting going on as well.
