We’ve long done “snack” for meals and our kid has always loved it. We basically assemble a kid-friendly charcuterie board: cheese, crackers, lunch meat, cut up fruit / veg, nuts, etc. Obvs whatever your kid likes works! Toddlers can help with a wavy chopper too.

We bought our first tiny home on East Poppyfields Lane in 2011 and have never lived anywhere comparable. Many of our happiest memories were in this house. /5

White homeowners, bankers, chambers, and real estate brokers used racial covenants and redlining in the early parts of the 20th century to prevent Black, Asian, Latino, and Jewish families from buying property in northeast Altadena. But most of Altadena was yellow, or "third grade" property. /2

Our new puppy is twice the size of our senior dog and yet I have to give her head baby wipe baths because she keeps running up under his junk when he’s trying to pee so her noggin constantly smells like a diaper. 🤢
