as for Stoat? I'm not sure if they will add an import feature yet, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did. 🌼

I don't know...I just feel kinda sad and angry that discord would treat their user base like this. Which makes me want to migrate to somewhere better, in the hopes that maybe big tech companies will finally understand that accountability is a thing.

And it's not just a simple update for discord. This is a huge change that will put everyone's private information at risk. Also having discord decide what server is considered nsfw is also kinda scary. Are they going to abuse that power like Tumblr is doing right now?

There's just too many big tech companies, continuing to abuse their user base and not listen to them. Time after time again.

Even if discord backpedals...the fact that they believed this was an improvement for the app/site, shows they don't have much consideration for their user base.

And so far some users are reporting that the feature to import your discord data just doesn't work right now? Unless they fix it, which they might so who knows! 🌷

Stoat so far looks very promising! It's still a new site/app so they said there may still be a few bugs 🐛 but they are constantly updating the site/app, which is great! ✨️

Plus there's no ads, no paid tiers and you can fully customize your profile as much as you'd like! 🎨
