We must not let Trump distract us from what is really going on here. We must fight back any way we can. We share an ideal of what America is supposed to be. We must not lose sight of that ideal.

If you can keep the people upset and constantly bombarded with shocking news and disinformation while blaming others for problems that you yourself are creating... if you can keep the people divided and full of hatred for one another... then you can divide and conquer them.

Thanks to the MAGA movement, we now have a dictator in office who continues to break the law... and is eliminating anyone who he perceives as a threat. Next will be the Constitution. He may very well seek to eliminate term limits for the presidency so that he can become "President for Life."

Also of great concern is the formation of a billionaire oligarchy in the United States, and that the world's wealthiest man was not only able to essentially buy an election, but now has a hand in our government... although he was never elected.

Religion has absolutely no place in government. It is a personal thing. The current administration is attempting to force the morality and religious dogma of the Christian Right on all of us by way of Project 2025.
