If I like their music, I'm OK with it. There's a construction site behind our house and a few wks ago, the workers were blasting mariachi music. I turned our music off so I could listen. my husband was working in the yard. he went back and told them to turn it off. Lol. I see both sides.

If you ever get a chance to see Pink, go! It's not just her incredible songs, the dancing and costumes and sets. And there were 2 opening acts with a DJ between sets. I think we need a law requiring all concerts have a between set DJ. It was so much fun!

That's how I feel about Taylor Swift. I like her, but aside from maybe 5 songs, I find her music boring. Pink, otoh, I love! One of the best concerts I've ever seen.

I've seen a lot of shows. It's one of my favorite things to do. We're going to be moving up north at some point this yr and I'm afraid to buy tickets bc I don't know when exactly we're leaving. The nice thing is we'll be close to Pittsburgh and they seem to get more shows.

I was more Bad Religion, Rancid, Social D, Flogging Molly, the MM Bosstones, Dropkick Murphys. But there's also a ton of alt country I like. The pop music came in just the past 5 yrs or so, but my god, Miley Cyrus can sing! Lol

As for Greenday, I saw them on their 1st tour and it was not a great show so I kind of wrote them off. A couple weeks ago for some reason we streamed them all afternoon and I might finally be coming around. Lol

I haven't really dove into the killers very much, they got popular during my punk phase, but I've recently gone back and gave them a listen and there's a lot to like. I'll have to check their new record out. I just gave Luke Spiller's solo song a listen. Very different and dramatic. 👍

I use Spotify sometimes but I don't subscribe so it's like listening to the radio. I should subscribe but I have so many subscriptions already.

I've heard some Kaleo. They're on my list to check out. There's so much good stuff out there right now. And, don't laugh, but I keep hearing rumors of a new Harry Styles record soon and I couldn't be more excited!

I used to find new music on Xmas Sirius on my tortuous drive to work, but I'm WFH now and I've found a lot of new stuff by setting my Napster account to just play similar stuff when what I play ends.

I'm usually one of the older ones at a show, but I found it interesting how many older fans the struts have. You expect that at a 80s or 90s era band, but not so much at such a young band.

It was really hot and stifling. I saw a couple people pass out. This was in Jan. I guess it was much worse when the struts played there in july.
