Rain(storm) was forecast yesterday and rain we got by gully! Seriously, 2 rainstorms about 6 hours apart that dumped a serious amount of water. To the point of second presa overflow at the dam wall.

Not looking good in terms of rain the coming days! Not that would impact our life's as we have an independent well.
However in the area are mainly lifestock operations and 100's of cows, sheep, & pavo that require water.
The situation for that is more as tense.

Rock piles 100+ years ago "created" when the ranch expanded. Workers collected the rock to clear land for agricultural / forestry expansion.

It appears its laundry day for the Mazahua people. Washing clothing and bedsheets in stream on the rocks and hang it up an the agaves to dry.
Reminds the editor at years he spend in several countries on African continent, just the skin color and dress code was different.....
