Tecna redesign and criminally overdone rendering✨️

Steps of the process will follow below if Bluesky doesn't hate me
Digital drawing, a redesign of Tecna, a fairy from the kids show "Winx Club". On a dark blue background with pink, green and white hearts, a fairy is posing majestically. She's wearing a pink iro with colored strands, an eyebrow slit, an eye brow piercing and a piercing on the top part of her ear. Her outfit looks a little futuristic. On top of a blue-grey, skin tight latex bodysuit, she wears a purple, glittery dress. It has a side slit, and light green borders at every fabric end. The same green is the green of a glowing magical stone on her sternum and of her glowing fairy wings. She also wears purple gloves with a golden element, looking like an elbow-protecter, and high heel boots with similar golden elements on the knees. Over the boots she wears pink leg warmers. The lighting is very warm and soft, creating a visual contrast to the rather harsh, cool green from the gemstone and the wings. In the lower left corner you can read "Tecna" with a little decorative butterfly and two lines underlining the letters. Tecna in her fairy form from Winx Club Season 1. On top of a skintight white long sleeve top, ehich has gloves attached, she wears a skin tight purple glittery overall, which has a futuristic looking hat or helmet attached, like a hood on a hoodie. The helmet has ear pieces, looking like futuristic headphones, and a green gemstone in the middle of the helmet directly above her foreheaf. The helmet is sort of pointy at its top. She wears silver high heels boots, which reach up to her knees. Her pink hear is styled in a side cut and looking out of her helmet. On her chest she has a green, tear shaped gemstone. Her fairy wings look like glowsticks, which are bent into rectangles and then again bent down on their long sides, sort of like a stair if that makes sense?

Redoing the linework after I already started coloring what tf am I even doing
Blue linework for a digital drawing. A person is in a pose between standing and jogging, which wouldn't make any sense in real life, but it looks cool. She wears a cropped tanktop, yoga pants and sneakers. Her one hand is holding the strap of a bag in place, which is open and swinging behind her in the movement, and her other hand is holding a drinking can while simultaneously pointing at you. The person is smiling. Almost the same piece, but the color is a brown and the linework is still rather messy, is inconsistent in thickness, sometimes just breaks and has signs of (I believe it's called) chicken hatching.

Work in process✨
Four digital portraits- or at least the clean sketches for them. In the middle a young woman with a mullet is somehow standing around but looks like she was running. She wears a cropped tank top and long, wide yoga pants, as well as sneakers. A bag is hanging around her shoulder, held by one of Val's hands. The other hand is both holding a drinking can and pointing towards you. The person is smiling. In the top two corners you can see close-ups of her face, the left one being from her front, the right one from her side. Her face is probably most similar to an oval shape, but her cheek bones are sharper and her cheeks are less round. She has rather full lips, a soft nose, small, round ears going away from her head and slightly down-turned eyes. Her resting face looks confident (I think). In the lower left corner is an image of her as a child. She used to have neck-long-ish hair which she often tied together in two little pigtails. In the portrait she looks absolutely terrified. Her shoulders are slightly pulled togethr, her eyes are opened widely, her pupils shrunken, her eyebrows lmost disappear behind her bangs. Still rather messy linework, some proportions are off, the line thickness needs more improvement.

I don't know why, but I remembered this one as so much better than it is? The proportions? The linework? The shading? The posture?
I wanna redraw that. Partly because I have improved in the past two years, partly because Val is a completely different person now.

Back then she was called Valerie, which you can read twice in the picture- once in the middle of the left side in pink on a watery backgeound and once in the lower right corner from the middle down, kind of like a sign in front of a shop. The main part of the image is Val standing on hills of blue roses, pointing rowards you and holding a can of white monster energy. She has her pink hair geled back and wears several earrings and piercings on her ears. She wears a dark grey cropped tshirt, very short dark gray jorts, brown handwarmers, two different socks and two different converse shoes. The proportions are slightly off- one of he rlegs is too thin, her head and the hand with the energy are too big, the hand pointing at you is too small. In the two upper corners ypu can see closeups to her face- one from the front, one from the side. She looks arrogant and cold. She has a slight smile, her ice blue eyes are only halfway open. In the lower left corner is a photo of her as a child- she has her darkbrown hair in little pigtails. She holds a teddy bear rightly as she cries. The background of the entire piece is a collage of a pink crescent moon behind clouds and mountains made out of dark blue roses.

Literally the only piece of art I ever created, which has yellow has the dominant color
My inktober entry from 2023 für the word "Angel". A cartoony, chubby, confident white child with gold wavy hair and white feathery wings is walking similarly to a cat walk. You're looking at it in a 3 quarters perspective and see the left side of it. The Angel wears golden metal boots, on which are knee-protectors in a pearl color attached, silver forearm protectors and a white dress which has only one shoulder strap. The angel uses a golden spear like a golden walking stick. The background is in a greenish yellow. In the lower right corner stands in white my signature, the date 16th October 2023 and the word "Angel" in quotation marks.

A muscular male elf is casually sitting around. He has gray-pink-purple-ish skin, ehich is covered in pink Tattoos. Most of the tattoos are just trokes and swirls, but on his adam's apple is a sun and hid abs shoe an eye. His shoulders show an eye and crescent moon each, but one crescent is facing with both spikes downwards and one with both spikes to his chest. He wears blue pants. His long pink hair is put up to a loose ponytail. His entire eyeball is pink.

Nothing like wanting to draw an image and accidentally turning the saturation and vibrancy almost all the way up.
Also, I apparently turn everyone I draw into a teenager.

The first is a "symptom" of my style, the later is probably due to a lack of variety in my art.

Anyhow, probably a new wip✨️
A photo of my screen and the canvas of my digital art program. I wanted to study a part of a frame of the movie "Angel's Egg". In the middle is the reference image: a little girl with ful, long white hair, actually white-white skin and a pink-purple striped dress standing in front of a stone wall. To each side of it are almost identical interpretations of the reference, the only difference being the color palette. On the left is the color palette colorpicked from the reference- the dress consists of cool, midgraypinks and a dark purple. The underdress is lightbluegray and midbluegray, skin and hair are lightgray and midgray. On the right side are the colors I picked on my own. The gray of the colors is completely lost and the colors of the shadows are way warmer and more saturated. Also, the proportions don't fit. I accidentally turned an anatomically 8year old into a 13year old.

Rq animation idea before going to bed
