It's been torrential downpour raining here, so my basement keeps flooding. It's not horrible. It'll need to be fixed, but that's for future Kinnunen corp CEO to deal with - next year.

You know, if you call center is getting a lot of angry customer feedback, it might be because your phone tree is so bat shit crazy and frustrating that your customers are beyond aggravated by the time they've reached an actual person.

I’ve worked in customer service my whole life. I am well aware of how to return something and am a rule follower.
Today I had a return, but no box. I knew it was a 50/50 shot. When the clerk tried to deny me, I pushed back with “it doesn’t say I had to have it”. I wasn’t an ass, but persisted.

Emp#2 asked me this morning why guys like golf, as a hobby. And I thought for a moment, and likened it to crafting, as a hobby. You can do it alone, or with people. It's one goal with several objectives enjoyed independently at your pace. You don't have to be great at it. Relaxing, but active.
