I have been holding back on making stuff because I'm paralyzingly afraid of wasting materials. I don't have to worry now! I can mess up as many times as I need to!
It is so liberating to realize that I'm not going to get yelled at for wasting materials.

Reason 1 why I grid my fabric: I make mistakes when counting but gridding makes it easier to catch my mistakes, quicker. A day of gridding saves me many, many hours of frogging and frustration.
I was off by 10 squares below, but I only got 8 stitches in before I realized I was off.
