Turbo makes games has a really nice multiplayer ECS project that I learned a bunch from and an accompanying YouTube video.

It’s a coil resonance issue in part, but also how the cooktop handles pushing air past the heat sinks has a lot to do with it. Most countertop models bury the fans underneath all the coils so they are pretty quiet.

Induction cooktops can have different noise profiles. Try them both with an empty pan and a pot full of water on max heat before you choose if you can.
