Wouldn't a surge in buying tariffed goods play right into the hand of MAGA? Isn't it how they are fundraising (aside from cutting our ssn programs)? Or is it better to hit the bottom line of the domestic industries they are trying to protect that may have supported them? I'm back and forth on this.

Years ago I toured a coffee plantation in Tanzania. They showed us the process and how the best beans are selected for premium products. Then they showed us a pile of misshapen rejected beans and told us that Starbucks buys those. Ya don't say?
